Description:
The Center for Puppetry Arts uses the latest technology to offer nationwide Distance Learning programs for PreK-12. Hands-on puppet building workshops are conducted via videoconferencing and are tailored to specific classroom topics and curriculum. The arts are infused with science, social studies, language arts and other disciplines to create a dynamic, interactive virtual classroom for a virtual field trip experience. Programs complement national curriculum standards in language arts, social studies, science, math and other areas. The Center provides a comprehensive study guide and materials list for most programs.

Center for Pupperty Arts have an excellent Vitural Field Trip program. The staff is very accomidating, flexible with working with teachers on the adaptions to the program, willing to talk prior to the date registered, and adheres to students with physical and mental disabilites.

The center for Puppetry Arts gives outstanding distance learning events. They are engaging and interactive. The students love them! We have tried several different programs at different levels and they have all been wonderful. THe presenters work with you to tell you which ones would be most appropriate also!

The Center for Puppetry Arts is a great provider for the lower grades. We have made puppets with 1st & 2nd graders and they love it!

The Center for Puppetry Arts offers a wide variety of programs that correlate with subjects across the curriculm and grade levels. They offer our students the opportunity to meet actual musicians/artist as well as understand how music and art reflect different cultures. They are happy to adjust their programs for different grade levels and meet the specific needs of our classroom teachers. They are a pleasure to work with and reasonably priced for school budgets.

The Center for Puppetry Arts is also great. We love their presenters! They go out of their way to make sure we are happy with the sessions.

The Center for Puppetry Arts has such unusual lessons for all grade levels. The staff is wonderful to work with and the activities presented throughout the lesson are such fun for our students.

Super "Gingerbread boy" shadow puppet program. I love the different versions you showed this year! It went along great with my Gingerbread unit.

Great videoconfs - hands on!

I have had two classes with Center for Puppetry Arts. They are VERY accommidating. They are personable and not intimidated by individuals who have severe disabilities. They are flexible with changing the program so that the lesson meets the needs of my students. They are very easy to work with because they are easy to contact (via phones and emails)

The children learn about puppetry and enjoy using their imaginations and new found knowledge to create a puppet that follows with our curriculum.

This was used with preschoolers. They were given materials to interact with. It was geared to preschool--keeping them active and a short presentation so they could attend during the VC.

I like the programs

"The Gingerbread Man" was a wonderfully engaging program presented to our first graders. Any one who can keep 1st graders on track is pretty darn good in my book!

THE PUPPETRY ARTS PROGRAM IN Atlanta went out of their way by keeping in contract before the event took place. We received a detail lesson plan before the event occur. They were great!!!!

The Center for Puppetry Arts in Georgia offered an excellent opportunity for students to experience a shadow puppet show, to create puppets of their very own, and interact with a professional puppeteer. The center for puppetry offered classes that would enhance my students knowledge of theatre.

Center for Puppetry Arts was delightful. I used them as a demo connection during a Fine Arts Conference we recently had at our Education Service Center. Many teachers attended and observed the demonstration of programming. They were all extremely impressed and are beginning to incorporate more art activities in their science and social studied instruction. CPA folks were delightful to work with and customized the presentation and the scheduling to meet our needs in Huntsville, TX.

I used the Center for Puppetry Arts this year. We used them with a Young 4's program and the children enjoyed it very much.

Ctr. for Puppetry Arts is one of the best sites for elementary students. Their presenters are excellent and their hands-on activites, especially the one with butterflys and moths reallget the children involved.

The Puppetry Arts Center always presents a program that engages the children with information and fun. They always enjoy creating the puppets. Visiting with Knights from the past, was the activity we enjoyed. (2 years ago). The class enjoyed exploring the world of knights by seeing real armor. It is something they would not have seen in everyday life.
