Description:
Visit the Zoo without ever leaving your classroom! The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium broadcasts videoconferencing programs directly from animal exhibits, and incorporates a variety of hands-on activities into every class. Each teacher will receive a teacher packet upon scheduling a program. This packet will contain information and materials for each session, as well as ideas for pre- and post-visit activities.

Teacher demos and programs will be offered Monday through Thursday from August through June. We will not be available for programs in July.

Columbus Zoo provides an outstanding selection of materials and programs, is cost effective, and wonderfully interactive.

The Columbus Zoo provides content which meet the state content standards. In addition they are easy and helpful when scheduling programs and try very hard to meet the time needs of the classroom. The Columbus Zoo provides excellent hands on activities for use during the video conference.
