Rebecca at the Buffalo Zoo offers many programs of outstanding quality. Students learn a great deal about the topic, view the animals through camcorders or live in her office. She is knowledgeable about any of the animals she is showing. She treats the children with kindness and respect.

The Buffalo Zoo provides our fifth graders with a very interactive assignment that they will take to the zoo.

The Buffalo Zoo has a wonderful staff that goes to all sorts of extremes to make the entire experience a pleasure for the students and teachers. They indiviualize to the classroom schedule and make any preparations that will be necessary to enhance the experience for the students. Rebecca Balk is a fine presenter who adjusts her presentation to the needs of the class with which she is working. The projects that are suggested are fun for the students, as well as, the animals. We were amazed last year when we saw the difference our projects made in the lives of the exhibited animals.
