Educator Comments:
Bronx Zoo has a very solid program.

They provided instruction at the highest level.Presenters were knowledgeable and trained in dealing with middle school students.

Very knowledgeable and vivacious presenters. Interesting and interactive programming.

They adapt their programs to their target audience. They provide live animals & videos of animals to enhance their presentations. They are easy to schedule with.

Fits into the TEKS that the teachers were teaching.

Ease of connection and the quality of the educational material

Provide not only good technical connections, they also provide an educational program that is based on standards, making it easy for teachers to integrate programs into their curriculum.

The Bronx Zoo sends great materials and allows our students maximum participation.

Programs were interactive. The Bronx Zoo had cams in the gorilla environment (after April) so that watching the animals was exciting. Their Moves and Meals, and Size and Shape programs presented 4 or 5 animals to the students with good closeups for children to study the animals. The presenter at the Bronx Zoo is fabulous and has an excellent rapport with children. They were quite interactive - engaging students frequently with observations and questions.

The programs are interactive, professional and well organized.

Excellent presentor, uses detail camera, good supplement to curriculum

The Bronx Zoo presented a wonderful video conference to our 2nd grade. The presenter was very knowledgeable and got the entire class involved in the discussion. The activities were fun and held the students' attention.

The Bronx Zoo has one of the most interactive programs I have seen in all my years of videoconferencing. As part of the program, the students actually created a food web. In recent years, a number of our teachers have scheduled programs with the Indy Zoo. In particular, their program on the desert has won high praise from our staff.

THE BRONZ ZOO PROVIDED A SPECIAL PROGRAM RELATING TO OUR NEEDS, AND IT WAS OUTSTANDING.

The teachers like the the Bronx Zoo because it is user friendly and provides the best subject matter for students of all grade levels.

The Bronx Zoo delivers very interactive programs. More than just show and tell.

We do a number of video conferences each year with the Bronx Zoo. They are very organized when scheduling a program, and the content is informative and age appropriate.

The Bronx Zoo is fabulous.
