Educator Comments:
We have used Conner Prarie as part of our curriculum for several years and love ALL of the programs we have seen.

I have had several conferences with Connor Prairie and their "Sheep to Blanket" program. Just this week our mentally handicapped/challenged students participated and the presenter did a fantastic job of interacting with the students.

Excellence in programming

The trial VC session from Conner Prairie was very thought provoking.

They provided materials before the sessions and were very knowledgeable about the subject being presented.

Good connections with curriculum - what seems like live acting is good.

Conner Prairie provides information and allows the children to explore new concepts in a fun and exciting way. Their program is a nice extension to our study of Pioneer life, and dyeing wool, etc... I highly recommend their programs.

Wonderful presenter...

They had great programs.

This was an excellent opportunity for students to role play life on the underground railroad. The actors kept them actively engaged during the VC enabling them to draw upon their prior knowledge and the experience enabled them to expand on their senses when writing their journal entries. The emotional impact was engaging making knowledge more meaningful and authenticated learning and understanding I am sure being their live was very meaningful, but the VC allowed us to experience it by proxy.

Connor Prairie Museum was a fun, educational, and worthwhile connection. Requested often at my district.

Conner Prarie is easy to work with, has varied programs and works well with educators. Charlee Hagan,DL Specialist,Arlington ISD

The Conner Prairie offers one of the best programs for 8th graders- Fall Creek Massacre. The students are lawyers and jurors and they are engaged for 1 full hour. Imagine that from 8th graders! Kathy Malaska- District Technologist

Conner Prairie bring to life historical incidents in our country's past. Real actors/actresses as well as commentary in between playlets make the experience meaningful and informational. They hold student interest.

Our third grade classes participated in a presentations on communities through Conner Prairie several years ago and then again this year (I loop). The information was hands on initially, with students taking responsibility for setting up their own community and explaining why they chose the area. Then students express their views, through distance learning, and learn about goods and services. Admittedly, I have used distance learning rarely but this program will be on my list as long as I teach third grade. Top Quality!

Conner Prairie did a wonderful job with our alternative school students. The materials were sent ahead of time allowing the teacher to prepare the classes and the students actively participated in the program. This was an experience like no other for these students.

Conner Prairie's Fall Creek Massacre Trial is a truly interactive experience with my class becoming lawyers and jury members. It was an excellent experience of turning my classroom into a courtroom while capturing the historical context of 1824. Ryan Lengacher US history teacher
