Description:
SeaTrek brings high-energy, multimedia science programming right into the classroom using videoconferencing and Internet technology. Our programs feature real scientists working in the field with interviews showing how their interests led them to their careers. Each program is supported by a free, down loadable, companion curriculum, aligned with National and Sunshine State Science Education Standards. We deliver our science videoconferences to students all over the world. Any school that has a videoconference system can connect with us to receive programs.

Mote Marine provides fabulous content sessions.

MOTE has been very helpful with last minute scheduling and provides fun and educational programs that the audience is very receptive to.

The Mote Marine Lab was professional, engaging for our students and they provided content that covered educational standards while providing an amazing educational experience for the students.

Casey Gaylord was not only very well versed and educated in her fields of study but was able to portray her experiences and learning to the students in such an energetic way that it captivated my students and really enthralled them into also being excited about ocean animals.

I have not witnessed the level of enthusiasm and participation that Ms Gaylord generates with her students by any of the other providers.

Our fifth-graders have participated in a video conference with MOTE for the past three years. The sessions have addressed MA grade 5 science frameworks for Ocean Life & Endangered Species. Each video conference has been well-designed, grade-appropriate, and highly interactive. Both students and staff have commented on how much fun they had & how much they learned. We have had to rely on grants for funding, and every time representatives those sources have had a chance to observe a video conference, they have been enthusiastic and very positive. These have been the only video conferences at this level using a content provider to date.

Kasey is an excellent presenter.

SeaTrek provides an extremely interactive session that is targeted to our state standards. We also get a tour of their facility in the form of seeing exhibits and marine life. Kasey G. is phenomenal and dramatic enough to hold any group's attention. Arkansas loves SeaTrek!

Mote Marine Laboratory has very educated and enthusiastic presenters who really get the students' attention during their programs.

The tour guide was so engaging and informative that she felt her class couldn't have had a better experience if they had been able to visit the Lab in person.
