Description:
NASA's Digital Learning Network (DLN) is about connecting with the next generation of Explorers. The DLN assists in the fulfillment of NASA's demanding mission, '"to inspire the next generation of explorers," by sharing the knowledge and expertise of NASA scientists, engineers, and researchers with students in today's classrooms. Through the DLN, learners at all levels have the opportunity to interact directly with NASA experts, often from their workplace, to gain a new appreciation for the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education.

Nasa is always a great program with great instruction.
Great Programming
The handouts sent ahead of the videoconference allowed me time to introduce the concepts to the students and then at videoconferencing time students were actually able to perform the experiments along with the instructor
We enjoy talking to rocket scientists. David Mazza and his colleagues at Glenn Research Center are a great resource for us.
The instructors were engaging and the material met our educational standards. Seeing astronauts work in water was the best part
They are well organized and flexable to our student's needs.

We have had over 10 NASA videoconferences. Each one - particularly Spacebots - was engaging and informative. The pre-activities are hands-on and the students are pleased to share their knowledge with the presentors.
Hands on activities were provided, which students enjoyed. Great for younger students.
Great programs
The NASA content is second to none. My teachers cannot wait to participate again in ""My Solar Planet"" next year.
The NASA program brought Space to our classrooms, the abstract concepts were made concrete by these infomative and entertaining presentations!!

NASA provides the most professional programs and are always willing to adapt a program to the needs of the students.
I think a virtual field trip should take you to see things you wouldn't be able to otherwise. They did that.
Interesting, but fun for students.

friendliness of staff
Great content
The NASA Glenn Digital Learning Network's videoconference on Space and the Solar System was the perfect fit for my students. The program fit right into my curriculum and answered the questions that I was not able to provide to the students. While studying planets in our science class we visited with NASA. The students loved this opportunity.
NASA's program was one that we were needing to research for our FPS competition. Eventhough the content for our particular session was aimed at an older audience, they worked with us to make it meaningful and useful to our elementary students. Awesome experience!!
