Description

ArtSmart Cottage iconPreparation
Students will review basic geometry terms and observe photographs to identify one-point perspective. Students will draw a cottage which can be used to write an imaginative story. This is not a guided writing activity. The writing may be done post-conference as an extension activity.

Classroom Preparation
Teacher will provide each student with two sheets of plain, white copy paper, pencils, markers, and crayons for this lesson. Extra copy paper should be in the room in case any student needs to begin again.

Students will need to be seated at tables with their own set of supplies to minimize classroom disruptions or disagreements over limited supplies. If tables are not available, have each student bring an individual drawing space.

Complete lesson plan will be emailed upon registration for this program.
